Enrichment Programme

Every Thursday your child has been experiencing an enrichment programme. Last term we reviewed the programme, took on board parent and pupil views and have revised the Hanwell enrichment offer. The vision behind enrichment is about giving our pupils opportunities to learn new skills and experience different activities, to help develop their interests and aspirations; Alongside meet different pupils and develop new ways to learn.

How does the programme work?

  • Your child will over the academic year experience 6 different enrichment's from 3 categories: Creative, Physical and Citizenship. Year groups will be placed within the categories and your child will need to make 1st choice, 2nd choice and 3rd choice.
  • We will endeavor to try and get your child's 1st choice but spaces are limited in the different workshops to provide a positive enriched experience. So please speak  to your child about what they want to experience and get their 3 options.
  • We are always trying to develop the programme so if you have an interesting skill or hobby that you think would benefit the pupils of Hanwell and have a spare couple of hours on a Friday we welcome volunteers. Please contact the School Office if you have any further ideas.
  • Lead : Vicky Tomlain
  • All Volunteers will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS check before supporting enrichment
