PE and sport play a significant role in the development of the children at Hanwell Fields: our school values underpin our learning in sport. Children have the opportunity to develop their creativity and confidence through sports such as dance and gymnastics enthusiasm. Our wide range of competitive sport against other schools and through the NOSSP foster respect of opposition players and match officials.

Determination to improve and develop new skills is encouraged through a positive and inclusive environment encouraging all ability levels. Ambition is unlimited with children tackling new challenges and sports across the school year.

Sport plays a vital role in the children’s development; not just in their physical health but also in their social, emotional and intellectual growth. Our sport curriculum enables children to bridge difficult concepts, handle victory and defeat, and develop resilience and determination.
