The Purpose of Governance is to improve outcomes for Children.
School Aims
The Governors and staff aim to:
- Share the responsibility with parents for all areas of their child’s learning
- Provide a curriculum which develops the individual’s confidence, independence and full potential to maximise development intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, morally and creatively.
- Provide positive experiences and a supportive environment to help children develop enquiring minds and become self-motivated lifelong learners; staff to continue to develop their professional knowledge, skills and understanding.
- Work in partnership to develop understanding, respect and care for one another and the community we live in.

Dear Parents
As you become partners with us at Hanwell Fields Community School you will discover that we are a very warm and welcoming school that places our Childrens learning at the centre of all that we do.
We strive for excellence in all areas of school life and believe that education is about more than the time children spend in school and is more about working together with you as a partnership to give our children the very best choices and opportunities possible.
We value and respect our children as individuals and we create an environment to enable them to be healthy and happy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve and make a positive contribution to the life of the school and community, so they have the confidence to be the very best they can be.
There is nothing ordinary about our children and school, most definitely extraordinary. Our children learn in a safe, challenging and creative environment which gives them endless opportunities to achieve their potential. We seek ways in which we can expand children’s horizons, inspire them and give them a broad learning experience that encompasses a wide and varied curriculum.
We are a school that recognises and celebrates its success regularly seeking to improve in all areas. We continue to look for ways that will take us into the future and carry us forward as a school that has a reputation for excellence.
