Religious Education (RE)
As a school we have chosen to adopt the Hertfordshire Religious Education Syllabus. We believe RE has a significant role to play in preparing pupils for adult life. It encourages pupils to develop their sense of identity and belonging. It enables them to develop individually, within their communities, as members of a diverse society and as global citizens.
RE is taught as a discrete subject across the school. In Years 5 and 6 RE is supported by a Multi Faith Chaplaincy.
Each week we also hold a Values Assembly that celebrates faiths and religious across the world, British and school values.
