We endeavour to make our curriculum innovative and exciting matching the needs of our pupils. We have embraced the new national curriculum. Below is information of some of the key curriculum areas.
Each term parents will be informed of their children’s learning journey through their curriculum newsletter and a curriculum map that will be available through the website and reception display.
Religious Education : We follow the Oxfordshire Agreed Syllabus. Children will learn about the different major faiths and will be encouraged to be enquiring learners through the syllabus.
Physical Education : The school offers two sessions a week for PE. Each child in KS1 and KS2 will also experience swimming for a term. The school’s sports premium money is invested in resourcing and opportunites for your child to engage in an active lifestyle. Forest School : Leaders (Level 3) Carol Nicholson and Vicky Tomalin
Pupils in EYFS and Year 1 experience Forest School. Forest School aims to encourage motivation, risk taking, team work and the love of learning outside.
The children either visit our own forest school on site or go to Cropredy Woodlands
