Technology at Hanwell Fields

Technology lies at the heart of teaching at Hanwell Fields. We are committed to fulfilling our pledge that we will ensure that teaching and learning is 'Ready for today. Driven by tomorrow.' To help us to achieve this goal, we endeavour to teach through innovative and engaging methods, including using technology. Each class has a set of iPads to ensure that learning is instant, as well as access to a laptop trolley and an Apple Mac suite. All classrooms are equipped with interactive screens and Apple TV to enable us to move learning from individual handsets for whole class viewing, enabling us to work collaboratively.

We are proud to embark on a learning journey with our pupils and as such are always eager to try out new ways of teaching through technology, supporting each other through the learning process. We are amazed every day by the resilience that our children show when tackling new tasks, often using the technology in ways that go beyond initial expectations.
