We are committed to fulfilling our pledge that we will ensure that teaching and learning is 'Ready for today. Driven by tomorrow.' To help us to achieve this goal, we endeavour to teach through innovative and engaging methods, including using technology.
Each class has access to laptop trollies where every child has their own. Computing lessons are taught weekly following the national curriculum objectives. All classrooms are equipped with interactive screens and a teacher iPad that projects to the board which enables us to work collaboratively.
We are proud to embark on a learning journey with our pupils and as such are always eager to try out new ways of teaching through technology, supporting each other through the learning process. We are amazed every day by the resilience that our children show when tackling new tasks, often using the technology in ways that go beyond initial expectations.
The school has a number of filtering and monitoring systems to ensure E-safety of its pupils. Children are educated to use the internet safely see E-Safety policy for more information.
