Welcome from Jane Haggitt (Headteacher)
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school. This website offers you a snapshot of our school and some of the activities the children encounter on their learning journey with us. Staff, governors, pupils and friends are proud of our school, its positive ethos, our happy and caring nature and the stimulating environment we provide.
I hope you find this web site both interesting and informative. This new site should be a further way forward in communicating with pupils and parents. However it cannot replace personal contact and visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed.
If you have an opportunity to visit us you will experience happy, busy children stimulated by creative activities, learning through a variety of teaching and learning styles. Good facilities and resources enable our teachers and assistants to be creative, engage pupils and extend those who have talents beyond the curriculum!
As a relatively new school we are proud of our links with local schools and community. We use visits out and visitors to the school, as a way of linking school life to the wider experiences of the world beyond school. We work as a team to create a caring family feel to our school.
We offer a good range of extra-curricular clubs and activities and have an on-site daycare and holiday care (Bridges). Our school council (elected by the children with representatives from each class) help us make decisions in schools - even interviewing teachers for their jobs!
