At our primary school, Hanwell Fields Community School, we work hard to ensure that the potential of every child is unlocked and we appreciate their uniqueness. The image captures our values, vision, and ethos that drive all that we do. We want our pupils to be prepared for an ever-changing world. We believe that in order to become independent, confident learners, children need to exhibit key learning powers, and therefore we ensure that there are opportunities to develop these skills in everything that we do.
We have high exceptions for all the members of our community to embrace these values every day.
Our ethos at Hanwell Fields is to Enrich, Educate, and Equip our pupils ready for their next phase of education and life. We believe that the development of their character is essential to being ready for today but driven by tomorrow's world.
'Character is what we do when noone is looking.' Our internal values and standards guide us where there is ambiguity. We believe, at Hanwell, that we have a responsibility to develop the totality of the child. This is done through experiences and opportunities within our broad and balanced curriculum and the hidden curriculum. We have developed a pledge that we strive to achieve for every pupil during their journey at Hanwell. We believe that this will provide additional opportunities that will challenge our pupils to think deeply, develop soft skills, and push themselves academically. In turn, this will help pupils develop their character and become active citizens of the future.
